St. Moritz Bad

In 1907 builders in St. Moritz Bad found two hollowed larch trunks around the town's mineral spring. They had been placed there in the Bronze Age, about 3,400 years ago.

The iron-rich water of the Mauritius spring made St. Moritz a spa town long before it was a ski resort. We bring a little of it to the hotel each week for the mineral bath, and the rest of the spa is built around the same idea: warm water, wood and stone, and the view.
